International YA Literature Month

This month is International Young Adult Literature Month, and our friends over at Global Literature in Libraries Initiative have been sharing daily posts with recommendations of YA books from around the world curated by high school librarian Linda Hoiseth.

This week on World Kid Lit, we are joining in the celebrations! Claire Storey will be speaking to translator David Bowles, Deborah Iwabuchi will be reviewing books by Japanese writer Shion Miura, and Eva Kwatek will be telling us about a German YA novel that has sold over one million copies worldwide.

But today, we’d like to remind you about the huge archive we have here at World Kid Lit. Here are just a few highlights that you might enjoy this International Young Adult Lit Month. For more, you can search the WKL website using the Young Adult category or click this link.
